Oreo Cheese Cake
Ingredients:
- Oreo ( crushed ) 400 gms
- Melted butter 70 gms
For the cheese cake :
- Cream cheese 675 gms
- Sugar 200 gms
- Flour 25 gms
- Sour cream 230 gms
- Vanilla Extract 1,1/2 tsp
- Eggs 5
- Oreo ( crushed ) 150 gms
- Oreo biscuits 4
Instructions:
- Mix Oreo ( crushed ) and melted butter and arrange
It on the base and sides of the mould.
- Bake for 12 minutes at 176*c. Let it cool.
- Now preheat the oven at 165*c for cheese cake.
- Whisk sugar and flour together in a bowl.
- In a stand mixture fitted with paddle attachment ,beat
the cream cheese for 1minute.
- Scrap down the sides and beat for another 30 seconds.
- Add sugar and flour, and mix for 1 minute.
- Add sour cream and mix until it’s blended well.
- Add eggs one at a time , add vanilla lemon zest and
salt , and mix for 30 second’s.
- Fold in half of Oreo ( crushed ) in the mixture.
Water bath and layering method:
- Pour 1/3 of the cheese cake batter over cooled crust
and sprinkle some of the remaining Oreo’s ( crushed )
and oreo biscuits.
- Add some more cheese cake batter and again sprinkle
Oreo ( crushed ) and Oreo’s on top.
- Pour the final layer of cheese take and set the pan on
a baking sheet with 1/4 inch water in it.
- Bake for an hour, remove and run a knife around the
Pan , loosely tent the cheese cake with aluminum foil
and let it cool.
